bloodborne is easily a must-have game for anybody who doesn't already own it.

That's a really good month! Too bad I've already finished Bloodborne 100% and Ratchet and Clank... but I'd go another round on Bloodborne for sure! If anyone hasn't played it, grab the DLC, it's fantastic, and adds a great amount of bang for your buck!

On a side note, I'm really bummed that there wasn't a new free PSVR title announced, cause Starblood Arena was only available until March as well.

Players will NOT receive 6 games per month as of next year. It's been clarified in this article https://www.polygon.com/2018/2/28/17062548/playstation-plus-...
Yeah, that's the part that stings the most for me, though I can't say that I'm surprised. The PS3 and Vita offerings haven't been very good for a while (with a few exceptions), so I'm not too sad to see them go, but the fact that they're getting rid of 66% of the "free" games is BS. Still, it's a year away and things could change.

Damn, just bought the deluxe version of Bloodborne when it was on sale a few weeks ago but I've never played a Ratchet & Clank game so I'm definitely excited for that!

Yeah, that's a bummer. Not that I played most of those PS3/Vita games, but sometimes there were nice cross-buy ones on either PS3 or Vita. It would be nice if they at least kept 3 games, with one being a smaller cross-buy title or something.

It would be interesting if they allowed you to pick 2 games out of 3 or 4, to kinda compensate for the decrease in the amount. But that would never happen...

Pretty happy with this month's offerings (mainly Ratchet & Clank), but not so happy about no more PS3/Vita games and possibly nothing to replace them with in another year's time.
Hope for the best but expect the worst.

I keep hearing nothing but good things about BLOODBORNE, but wondering how difficult the game is for a new player. I may take a stab at it since its going to be a free game

I own both of these, and with the announcement they're no longer offering Vita and PS3 games in 2019 i'll not be renewing PS+ when it expires, as it's not worth the money in the UK for what they offer.
If i want those indie games i'll buy them.
Cutting 2 thirds of PS+ games and keeping the price the same is bullshit.

This was posted on another forum I frequent:

    https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2017/nov/04/sony-reco...

"Sony is expected to make full-year profits of £4.2bn " and "the games division, including its online PlayStation network of 70 million paying users, is the single biggest contributor to Sony’s revenue. This year the division will account for 24% of revenue and almost 29% of operating profit."

That's in British pounds too, so basically Sony's profits for the year are estimated at about $6 billion USD, and the games division makes up 29% of that profit. And PSN is the single biggest contributor to their revenue.

So yeah, of course they need to get rid of PS3 and Vita games, cause how can they possibly be expected to live off only a couple billion dollars in pure profit from their games division every year?
