PlayStation Studios need to stop with the bad PS5 game names

Idc what it’s called, Astro Bot is the first game I’ve preordered in a decade. I’ve got my Astro Bot controller and popcorn ready for September 6th!

The only one that I feel is actually bad is Fairgame$. That title is just awful lmao.

I'm not a fan of the Marathon name, but not because of the name itself. My issue with it is that fact that they're trying to reboot a really old franchise with a game that doesn't appeal to the fans of that series in the slightest. If they were rebooting it with a game that actually represented the series, it'd be fine imo.

I don't think Concord is going to fail because of the name.

Returnal as a name is fine because most players don't stop to think it's a pun. It's also obviously way better than the Atropos name suggested. As for Astro Bot the way the controller preorder broke on every website makes me think it'll be hit of the year.

Wow. Is the writer of this article 14 years old? There’s literally nothing wrong with these names.
Returnal perfectly encapsulates the very type of game it even is.
It’s a very cool name, and clever.
The word ‘concord’ means a harmony between people, and I’m pretty sure the game is about having a crew.

Astro Bot is also very literal, it’s an astronautical bot. Hello?

If you want bad video game names look at the Kingdom Hearts series.

This just seems to be picking fault with nothing at all.

Concord as someone else mentioned is a perfectly accurate name as it means the harmony between a group of people, like a crew you could say. Shock horror.

All of these names, except perhaps Fairgames PERFECTLY encapsulate at least one aspect of the game. The same as Halo did and Destiny did.

As for Marathon, I think it’s a little concerning that a gaming ‘enthusiast’ who writes articles for a gaming website has not heard of Marathon. It’s a piece of gaming history that anyone over a certain age interested in gaming should know of.

It’s disrespectful to shame these names with the amount of low effort articles put on this site as of late 😂. Quality journalism, engaging writing and less clickbait/pointless articles would be welcomed.

Agreed with all of the above. Been saying this for months but TT news is dog nowadays.

There was less clickbait and waste of time articles on here when the people writing them were unpaid volunteers. If that doesn't tell you something about the quality of what they put out now, I don't know what will.

Let's stick to actual news, instead of these pointless opinion pieces.
