PS Plus Premium scores its biggest hit yet with Sly Cooper’s PS2 debut

    For the payers.

    If this was Xbox could play the original or the HD remaster in current consoles, instead of have to pay for Premium or buy it again.
    Buying:Physical discs leads to profits, Digital games leads to bankruptcy. I will not support digital fully until we can trade digital games

    I don’t actually think I ever played this, curious how it holds up w/o nostalgia. Just downloaded Twisted Metal 1/2, gotta admit, this Premium tier has so many games I’d love to check out again. For the $12 it cost me to upgrade from extra, thing is more than worth its weight, and having trophy support..chefs kiss.

    Yeah, I got a platinum on 2 out of the 3 Sly Cooper games on the ps3..Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus is one of those games...
    Great to see Sly is back...I wonder if Playstation will put the trilogy of Sly Cooper games on their service...or make a brand new Sly Cooper game on the ps5...

    To be fair the Xbox and PS BC both have their pros and cons. Xbox has a big advantage in being able to use your original discs to play and upping the performance, while Sony keeps the performance the same, but adds in much appreciated save states and trophies that make a real difference with how brutal some older games can be.

    I've bought a couple in the past. Think the two Destroy all Humans! Games are in my library. Can't say no to cracking those out every other month.

    Massive agreement with this. I love that Sony have added trophies to PS2 games as the OG Xbox games from the same gen don’t have achievement support which is a huge loss in my eyes. So Sony definitely got that right. And I quite like the rewind feature, only just tried it with Sly and it’s quite a nice little ‘helping hand’ if I need it.

    I stopped using my PS5 and started using my PS2 itself now. This generation is still boring outside of Nintendo.

    I've gained a massive appreciation for that whole generation in general recently. The original Xbox is one I now wish I could have been part of growing up.

    I doubt we'll ever get a perfect gen like that one ever again. I wholeheartedly recommend Ninja Gaiden since you're in the market for classic perfection.
