Posted on 13 June 24 at 12:08The PSOne emulator also had a rough start. I'm sure the PS2 emulator will get better. But still. With how long Sony has had to build this emulator, and the financial and technical weight behind them, there's no excuse for this kind of showing. It's shame really since they were ok a roll and they've killed the momentum with the half assing.
Posted on 13 June 24 at 12:28I think every new emulator on consoles have teething problems but if Sony actually put in effort here, things will improve.I know people love to praise the backwards compatibility on Xbox (and rightly so) but I remember it having its own issues when the program first started and then there were the awful issues that were on the Switch when it came to N64 games.I pray that Sony put in more effort and fix this cause it's a great program prospect and shouldn't just be abandoned cause of teething issues.
Posted on 13 June 24 at 12:48I was genuinely surprised to find out that they didn’t have a backwards compatibility program like Xbox. Why are you reading this.
Posted on 14 June 24 at 11:13So Clone Wars is good then?At least it has trophies.Buying:Physical discs leads to profits, Digital games leads to bankruptcy. I will not support digital fully until we can trade digital games
Posted on 15 June 24 at 09:01I finished the platinum trophy in Ape Escape yesterday and wanted to come back to Ape Escape 2, which I bought a few years back and last played on my PS4 - turns out the game is completely unplayable on PS5, with massive graphical issues. Sony probably won't care enough to port it to the new emulator, since they didn't care for almost four years to fix this.
