I've heard the original versions were really grind-y towards the beginning, but if you don't mind that I'd recommend the series. They're very satirical and lighthearted, but have a good combat system (in the remakes, at least). Plus, I do love a good J-RPG.

It's a refreshingly fun series and definitely deserves more love. smile

    It probably would have been better to release a PS3 port of Re;Birth 1 instead of the original but whatever. It still had the funniest side events which sadly aren't present in the Remake.
    That reversible cover though <3
