Star Wars Outlaws having AC Odyssey-sized planets sounds exhausting

I like huge open worlds. 🤷

Even though this is by a different developer, Jedi Survivor nailed making exploration fun despite most of it being on Koboh, so size isn't an issue if it's done right.

You also have to factor in traveling by horse compared to Speeders. Odyssey was perfect for me. Never was I bored exploring.

I love Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom but most open worls bore the life out of me.

I mean depends how many planets there are. If there are four or five it'll still hold my interest. Anything over that and I think they've killed it already.

the more empty repetitive massive sorlds you play, the more you will get tired of them. Most reviewers play far more games than the average person and playing one game 20 times with different visuals will not suddenly become more enjoyable if all thats promised with the next one is that it is even larger.

The main problem is that every article on this site is now an 'opinion piece' rather than just reporting on the news. No one particularly cares what they thought of certain games but they just can't help but shoehorn it in.

Also a misleading headline once again. A planet could just as easily be the size of two or three of the smaller islands from Odyssey, but they have to get the clickbait in there somewhere.

I don't get why people complain about getting a massive game. Surely getting your money's worth is a good thing? I loved Assassin's Creed Odyssey and it was the size of the game that blew me away. Even Valhalla with all it's additional content really made me feel I was getting my moneys worth. Think back to Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. A great game with loads to do and many different locations. The the second one came out and it was much smaller and had a shorter story and players went nuts because it wasn't as big as the first and felt ripped off. Give me big games with loads of support and extras every time.

Dude, that's literally what most journalism is. It's also clearly marked as such.

Actually fair. Didn't notice they had the 'Opinion' flag to be honest. I don't necessarily agree that's what most journalism is, but to each their own. It still doesn't change my view that the article quality here is on a downwards trend as they seem to be consistently leaning into clickbait shit nowadays, but not noticing the flag is entirely on me.

Absolutely agree that there's been too much clickbait recently (intentionally or not,) and I've called it out as such. But I don't see it here, tbh. Gotta write about something on a slow news day. If nothing else, it's a red flag to keep expectations in check for this game. But hopefully unwarranted.

    👍👍👍

Sounds awesome, sounds worth buying day one

I am still enjoying AC Valhalla but should be finished by the time this releases, then another 5 year epic 👍
Buying:Physical discs leads to profits, Digital games leads to bankruptcy. I will not support digital fully until we can trade digital games

    1) it said the planets were equal to 2 lands in AC Odyssey, not the entire mass of lands, 2)if you don’t like it go play the mountain of other Star Wars games. This game sounds amazing and will sell a ridiculous number, minus you mr opinionated writer
