PlayStation boss isn't keen on talking about the PS5

The hell?

So basically, it's not that he doesn't want to talk about it, it's more he wants to let people know who haven't been able to get one yet, that they've basically ditched the "we believe in generations" mumbo jumbo.
What he's saying makes sense. When the PS5 jumps in numbers, the PS4 will be gone.

At this point, I certainly wouldn't bet on there being a PlayStation 6. It has been obvious for a long time that their priority has become having the largest player base possible, which naturally happens when your games can be played on as many devices as possible. Then you have to factor in that all we ever hear about is how costly and time consuming it is to create a console. If they end up making billions on mobile games, they aren't going to care about a PlayStation 6 where the profits and player base will be much smaller. But everyone keeps celebrating everytime Sony distances themselves ever so slightly from PlayStation. We'll see where that gets us.
