Objectively, this is not a good addition to gameplay. It's a linear slog with unresponsive controls. There's at least a full second or two of input lag. Gladio has to materialize his weapon or shield. If you want to break boxes, hit square and then wait. If you want to instant block an attack, forget it. You better be watching enemies and how they telegraph attacks.

We don't learn anything all that interesting about Gladio other than where he got his second scar. The score attack mode would be fun if the input lag wasn't so bad. I guess I am spoiled on character action games, but I feel like Square Enix could have copied Platinum a bit to make this more fun.
