'A shoot-em-up on a sugar rush' seems like a more than adequate description of Vertex Pop's relentless twin-stick shooter. You could've figured that out way back when the game was announced last November. What nobody knew until now is just when WE ARE DOOMED would see a release. Now we know. Meanwhile, here's the debut gameplay trailer if you need some color in your life.

You can get your hands on the game for $9.99, or your regional equivalent, when it hits North America on April 14th and Europe on April 15th.
