Skylanders Trap Team Media and Eon's Elite Reveal

By NexusGrunt,
Fans of the original title in the ever increasing Skylanders franchise, Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure might be pleased to know that Activision has announced that a new range of premium new characters will be released this coming autumn. The new characters entitled, Eon's Elite, will feature eight Skylander characters specially selected by Master Eon for displaying outstanding courage in battle in Skylands. The first of these elite characters to make the roster are fan favourites Spyro and Chop Chop.

The new elite figurines will be given a never-before-seen decoration with a distinct, metallic finish and a golden base that sets them apart from other Skylanders toys. Additionally, each of these special figures will have premium foil packaging and a display case with a 3D lenticular background. All well and good for the physical figures but what of their role in the virtual world? Unsurprisingly, these elite characters will have a special boost in-game, which will be up to three times the power that the normal Skylander characters have.

If that wasn't enough for fans, Activision has also revealed a whole bundle of screens and images for the upcoming title, Skylanders Trap Team. Ever since the new game was announced, we've featured regular updates, but this is possibly the largest bundle of images to date.
