Its been too long!Permalink
It's been far too long since my last blog post, or since i have been able to put a decent amount of time into my PS4. I've had the wedding and work to keep my busier than i would like but can finally say that's all over now.

What this does mean is back to gaming! YAY! I have 4 titles currently on the go although it's been some time since i have played any of them so will take a bit of time to get into things again.

I think i may have to accept defeat with Battleborn, although i will continue to chip away at the game, some of the trophies are just too much of a grind, it's not fun any more.

I have a whole stack of other games waiting to be played as well, approximately 25.

I am very tempted to do a bean dive of sorts. I'm thinking of starting as many as possible and then using the random trophy function on the site to add 50 and then work at getting those before adding another 50 etc etc. I'll think on that a little more before making a rash decision!

what i am going to do though is begin to stream a bit more, i have the PS camera on its way and although not needed to steam i do think people are more engaging when they can see and speak to the person they are watching. I'm going to add the details to my page over the next couple of days so would be cool if some of you checked it out and maybe even followed (If you liked the gameplay or what you saw lol)

Well thats me for now, i'll be back to regular updates again now as well as some trophy hunting.

As always please go ahead and shoot my a friend request either on the site or PSN or both! i like having people to play with, chat to and compete against on this site! Any game recommendations or improvements for the blog, leave me a message in the comments!

Platinum challenge updatePermalink
Its been a quiet few gaming weeks for me as I approach my wedding day in 2 days time, after today there will be no gaming for me for a couple of weeks as I enjoy married life!

When I return, I should be refreshed and ready to take on Just Cause 3 properly. From what I have played so far its been fun and enjoyable. After trying my hand at some of the challenges I can see it being very grindy. I can see how its earned its estimated completion time.

With Tropico announced as one of the games on PS plus, i'll add this as my next game although I do want to play Ratchet and Clank and of course battleborn. I'll have to juggle things the best I can. So far I haven't started more than one game at a time as I found it has focused me but with all these games I want to play I may have to adopt my stance.

Only a small update this time but i'll be back to normal playing and updates in a couple of weeks! Wish me luck haha

As always please feel free to add me on here and on PSN. The more friends the better! Any game recommendations? Please add them in the comments and I am always open to ideas on how to make the blog better!

Thanks for taking the time to read this,

Platinum Challenge - Game 5 completed + New game!Permalink
So only 3 days after starting The Wolf among us, i have the platinum for it. I always knew this was going to be a short completion. It was a nice change of pace to the all out action that was UFC 2

My thoughts on The Wolf Among Us? It was brilliant, from start to finish i really enjoyed the story and found myself seriously thinking how i would answer each dialog choice. I hadnt done any research on the game to the actual story and the featured characters was a complete surprise. As with these games there is always a good and bad response, i found myself going down the bad route for most answers. It provided me with some great dialog choices and getting to punch people at every opportunity was fun lol.

Moving on to my next game... Again a complete change of pace and something different to my previous 5 games. Using 3 gaming websites the average completion for this game is 81 hours and has a difficulty rating of 5.5 It is ... Just Cause 3.

The game itself looks great fun and with no missable achievements its one i can just play and enjoy. I am getting married soon so gaming will be taking a bit of a back seat however i'll still be able to get some gaming in and of course update my blog.

Thanks for reading, please feel free to contact me with any improvements. As always send me a friend request on the site and for PSN im always up for gaming and helping people. PSN is Super_Starlord

Platinum challenge - Game 4 Completed!Permalink
Greetings fellow gamers.

As I continue through my attempts to platinum as many games as possible I managed to this morning add another to my small but growing list. After mopping up my final few achievements on UFC 2 I became the 21st person on the site to achieve

EA SPORTS UFC 2Master of the OctagonSuper_StarlordThe Master of the Octagon trophy in EA SPORTS UFC 2 worth 1649 pointsUnlock all other trophies in EA SPORTS™ UFC® 2.

Another satisfying completion I have to admit. This has definitely given me my most intense gaming moments from my 4 platinum trophies, only narrowly beating out the extractions from the division. Getting rocked in the final seconds of a round and holding on for dear life was exciting. Even more so when the following round you get that knock out finish on your opponent.

Having not played the first UFC game I am not in a position to compare the latest offering to its predecessor. Graphically the game looked really nice, the fighters had good likenesses and it played really smoothly. it was easy and fluid to string a row of jabs and a head kick together.

The game modes are what you would expect although I did like the ultimate fighter mode where you create a team of 5 fighters and improve these through opening packs of cards. Much like ultimate team on Fifa. They also offered a knock out mode for those that want to go out all guns blazing without the worry of a take down .

I did enjoy my time with UFC 2 but unless your a big fan of the sport ( I am) I feel the game could get boring quickly.

On to game number 5! I have started The Wolf Among Us. After playing the first chapter, I love it. hearing a toad f'ing and blinding was completely unexpected but set the game up perfectly. although this is pretty much a sure thing on the platinum front I wanted a change of pace and this seems like it will do perfectly.

I'm already looking for game number 6 so please give me some suggestions in the comments, I'd love to hear your thoughts on the games I play, the blog or anything thing else. As always please feel free to send me a friend request both on the site and PSN

Thanks for reading!

Platinum challenge - Game 4 updatePermalink
Hello readers!

thought i would just stop by to post an update on how i am getting on with my 4th game UFC2. In my previous post i thought i had ruined my challenge with on of the trophies seeming like it was going to allude me! I am please to say that i was able to achieve it

EA SPORTS UFC 2The LegendThe The Legend trophy in EA SPORTS UFC 2 worth 217 pointsBecome a Champion in Ranked or Ultimate Championships.

I have since met the requirements for this trophy about 6 times so clearly worrying about nothing in the end. As i finished my final opponent to get this my heart was beating hard and fast and i did feel a sense of accomplishment when it pinged.

I now have 65% of the trophies available and grinding my way to get

EA SPORTS UFC 2Red BeltThe Red Belt trophy in EA SPORTS UFC 2 worth 333 pointsReach Team Level 26.

EA SPORTS UFC 2Making BankThe Making Bank trophy in EA SPORTS UFC 2 worth 113 pointsEarn 100,000 Coins as fight rewards.

I should have these by the end of the weekend. I am still enjoying this and love the idea of the ultimate fighter team where you open packs in the hopes of getting moves to improve your fighter. I'll do a mini review as always once i have finished the game

Anyone reading this considering getting the game i would say go for it. One word of advice learn the clinch and ground game! It was save you a lot of heartache lol.

As always thanks for stopping by please feel free to send me a FR on here and on PSN my ID is Super_Starlord. Any recommendations for improvements to the blog are always welcome
